About the role
Based in our Melbourne head office this role will be responsible for assisting McConnell Dowell’s Group Commercial Function, the successful person for this role will have existing experience in the commercial space within construction.

Reporting into the Executive General Manager Commercial, this person will also assist the Commercial Leadership team including our Group Planning Manager, Group Procurement and Plant Manager, Group Project Controls Manager and the Commercial General Managers of each Business Unit. Some of the responsibilities of this role include:
  • Supporting our group functions in improving and developing their capability and performance.
  • Assisting in continuously improving and streamlining current systems and processes and developing effective new ones where required.
  • Delivering excellent outcomes through engagement and collaboration with our business leaders.
About you
Ambitious, energetic, and driven the successful person will be keen to expand their horizons in the commercial space. We are looking for the following experience for this role:
  • Experience within a construction environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications to the role
  • The ability to think autonomously but understand when to escalate issues.
  • Ability to provide administrative support and create and write documents.
  • The ability to collect and collate information from various people and sources.
